Cute Anime Cartoons - Top 10 Anime Cartoons You Should See

10. Lucky Star.

Lucky star has no plot, as plain as that. It's purely a comedy series. The series is only driven by the most popular character of the series, Konata, even if you don't like the comedy in it, if you're an otaku (anime nerd.) you'll like her.

K-on is an anime about high school girls in a club together, yay! I am sure there won't be any extreme boredom. So in case you haven't guessed it's not that interesting, but they're all in a band together, thanks to the Light and Music Club. The series starts off with only four members of the band, and later on at the end of the first season we get a new character, sadly she is not interesting either. Now don't get me wrong, the music their band makes is good, but the characters are, well, dull. The show follows them in their normal life practicing, making new songs, and wait for this one - buying food! But never the less it's still cute, I guess.

Cartoons and Anime - Fun, Amusing, and Entertaining But a Business

As a fan of cartoons and anime (or cartoonime for the sake of simplicity). I must say my fandiom for both genre of animation is slow wanning. Though, my enthusiasm for one genre is higher than the other, I, however; still feel that as a whole both industries are on a decline and have been on the decline since the 80's.

But I do want to make one thing clear. I do believe that the quality of Japanese anime has slowly improved in the recent years. Though with that said, I am a bit worried about the new Youth Ordinance Bill that was passed in Tokyo, Japan. I know it's only a small level of censorship but this could potentially be the stepping stone towards a huge creation of censorship. Because as you know once a government issues a small change in the social structure, they tend to make more and bigger changes in the future.

Anime for the Adult in All of Us

Nope, that was not a typo. I meant to use that title. But, before I delve any further into that matter, I believe it would be best to let it explain itself. Now then, let's say you're watching an episode of some random semi-serious anime. Let's take... something shoujo, maybe Fushigi Yuugi. Suppose someone whom we'll refer to as "Random Ignorant Person" or Rip for short, suddenly barges in and starts watching with you. Then, just as the show is reaching it's climax in the pivotal "Nuriko's last stand" scene, Rip goes, "What the? C'mon let's stop watching cartoons and pop in this porn dvd." Totally spoils the cathartic effect doesn't it?
Unfortunately for us anime fans, people like Rip constitute the majority, and we, the otaku, meek though we are many, are still the minority. Yet, what Rip failed to see beyond the multi-colored hair, the exceedingly large eyeballs, the grand display of superpowers, and the guys who look like girls, was the intensity of the emotions at that particular scene, and in that anime in general, the clash of equally valid principles, the internal and external politics, the self-sacrifice, and yes, the arguably overrated and cliché love story, the entirety of which makes up Fushigi Yuugi.
